Do I need internet at the gym to track a game?
No. StatHawk works fully offline — every tap is stored on your iPad and the game sheet is shareable the moment the buzzer sounds. The next time you're on Wi-Fi or cellular, your stats sync automatically.
What devices does StatHawk run on?
StatHawk is built for iPad — both standard and Pro — in landscape orientation. We support iPadOS 15 and up. iPhone and web views are available for parents and players who just want to view stats and shot charts.
How long does it take to set up a roster?
Most coaches finish a team setup in under 90 seconds — name, season, players, and jersey numbers. If you already have a roster in a spreadsheet, paste it in and we'll parse it. You can manage JV, varsity, and AAU teams from a single login.
Can I share stats with parents and players?
Yes. Box scores and shot charts can be shared in a single tap to your team chat, family group, or any messenger. You can also generate a clean PDF box score, export to CSV, or send a recruiter-ready season report.
Is StatHawk just for varsity teams?
Not at all. We're used across middle school, junior high, high school varsity and JV, prep teams, and AAU clubs. The interface scales with your level — simple by default, with deeper stats whenever you want them.
What about turnovers, fouls, and the play log?
Every event is captured — turnovers, blocks, steals, assists, rebounds, fouls, free throws — and stamped onto the timeline. You can review the entire play log, jump back to any moment, and undo or correct an event without losing the rest of the game.
Can I switch trackers mid-game?
Yes. Hand the iPad to your assistant or a parent at any point — the controls are designed to be picked up cold by anyone. Big buttons, clear labels, undo always one tap away.
How much does StatHawk cost?
StatHawk is free to start. Pro unlocks advanced analytics and recruiter packets at $39.99 per team per season, billed annually. No credit card needed to get going.
Can I import stats from another app?
Yes — we have one-tap import from CSV exports, and direct importers for the most common competitor apps.
Do you support other sports?
Right now StatHawk is purpose-built for basketball — that focus is what lets us be the fastest, most accurate tracker available. Volleyball and lacrosse are on the roadmap. Tell us what you'd want us to build next.
